I always carry a small flashlight as part of my every day carry routine. Until I purchased this light, all my lights have been round. Getting a round light to fit my needs generally required me to go with a smaller light, which equals a smaller battery capacity.
This light is just over a 1/2' thick and has the general shape, weight and size of a folding knife and it comes with a two way clip. The clip allows carry in both a pocket or it can be clipped onto the bill of a ball cap. With this light I've basically combined a head lamp worn when hunting and a small flashlight into one item, saving both space and weight while out doors.
It has three regular brightness settings with a turbo setting which is easily activated. I find the middle setting sufficient for most tasks and it helps conserve battery life. Also included is a green visible laser pointer and a UV light. Charging is accomplished with a supplied magnetic base. Mine came fully charged and I throw it on the charger once a week so I couldn't really tell you the charge time.
I carry it in a rear pocket for both casual and work wear. With the clip, it carries like a knife and it's easy to forget it's there.
CONCLUSION
In my opinion a small light such as this is a must have. My review is based solely on my personal experience with this light. I carry it daily and absolutely love it.
Is this a quality flashlight? YES
Is it affordable? It's probably top end of most's budget, bet YES, it's affordable
Do I recommend it? ABSOLUTELY
